Happy September! It's my birthday month, and I look at my birthday as an opportunity for an Energetic Re-Set, reflecting on the past year and how I feel about my Life. In my 20’s and 30’s it was more about Doing and what I needed to accomplish to feel good about life. In my 40’s it’s been about Being- who am I BEING as I DO all the things?
In the doing of life I want to BE centered, keep my peace sacred despite the conflicts in the world, and be of service to humanity through my work. Instead of worrying about what others expect of me I ask, how can I serve Spirit? In that I know others will be served.
Keeping my inner foundation strong, which is God. Everyday connecting and asking, listening for guidance, trusting it and following it. Even when I don’t know the answer. I’ve realized no one does, but most people are doing the best they can. It’s trusting your heart to lead, as that’s where Spirit lies.
I’ve learned discernment, as information is everywhere but where’s the truth? It’s not in the world, it's Within. Worldy truth changes everyday with whoever is speaking, leading or selling their story. Connect to Spirit in your heart and ask, what’s my story today?
And after reflection I ask, what do I want in my next year around the sun? To live deeper the knowing of Who I am- letting Spirit lead and knowing as I do, the worldly stuff falls into place with the faith, the love, the trust in God.
You can ask these questions and Re-set anytime you feel stuck, want change or more connection. Give yourself the opportunity to take a Leap of Faith in Being your authentic self and trusting your heart. Do something just because it makes you smile- that's when your Spirit shines!
This September, I’m counting my blessings and Love life more with each passing year. Thank you for being a part of this community :)
